Dr. Luc Rubinger is a dual fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstruction in Toronto and Durham Region. Dr. Rubinger trained at some of Canada’s leading academic hospitals, including Mount Sinai, Sunnybrook, and St. Michael’s, before joining Lakeridge Health as a staff surgeon. Known for combining technical precision with an approachable, patient-first style, he brings a modern perspective to hip and knee reconstruction. The direct anterior approach reaches the hip joint between the muscles, rather than cutting through them. A less disruptive path means smoother recovery, earlier movement, and a return to daily life with fewer restrictions.
